Business Meeting Minutes - September 12, 2024

Grand Knight David Coughlin called Meeting to Order at 7:00pm

August 2024 Minutes unanimously approved.

Grand Knight Report-Grand Knight Dave Coughlin Reports:

1. A 3 year Calendar has been rolled out on the website

2. Talking to a potential chairperson for Christmas Card Sales

3. We need Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Drive signs

4. Dan Wehby and Vanoy Counts will be representing the KOC at the Ministry Fair, September 28 and September 29.

5. We need a Bazaar Food Chairman and workers to run the Chuck Wagon

   
   

Treasurer Report-Treasurer Michael Gambone Reports balances as of August 31 2024:

1. Council Checking #1803-$3504.65

2. Money Market #4963-$3012.27

3. Charity Account #0010-$12,943.79

4. BINGO Acct#3255-$2,036.53

5 Checks outstanding as of August 31 2024

Financial Secretary Report-Financial Secretary David Counts Reports:

1. 215 Current Members. 2 Transfer outs. Need 12 new members to reach goal

   
   

Community Director-Community Director Dan Costello Reports:

1. Council Required to have 4 events per year and we have them: Quarterly Breakfasts, BINGO, School Supply Drive, Plunge 2

2. Challenge Enterprise Dance Cancelled. Miscommunication with the Parish.

3. School Supplies Delivered. 350 lbs collected

BINGO-Chairman Cliff Plante Reports:

1. Food sales at last BINGO Night $411

2. $306 50/50

3. $2558 BINGO Packet Sales

   
   

Old Business

1. Grand Knight Dave Coughlin explains the Budget to the membership; asks for motion to accept the Budget. Budget unanimously approved.

2. 2 checks requested

   a) $300 for Coats for Kids

   b) $100 to a lady collecting for Special Olympic Golf

Life Director-

1. There will be a Life Chain on Blanding Oct 5 2:00-3:00
