Council 7399 Kingsley Ave. Cleanup
On March 28, 2026, the Knights of Columbus Council 7399 conducted a clean up of Kingsley Ave. Organized by brother Knight Dennis Abbott and his wife, Cheryl, the team consists of youth from our community and Knights from the Council. The clean up is not currently on a regular schedule but is conducted about every three months. The fundraiser for the spaghetti dinner. I think it yielded about what, 2,300 bucks. $2,577, which Father Rooney was very happy to receive. Council Hosts Brats & Beer Stag (K)night
In lieu of our April monthly social on April 23, the Council will be holding a stag event called the Brats & Beer Knight. This will be an open invitation to the members of our Council and our parish where we will play card games, cornhole, and other activities. This as a casual event and not a recruiting or benefit night. Members can invite a male friend and be assured that there will be no pressure to join our Order. Council Completes Its Annual Free-Throw Championship
When students returned to school, the Council approached the public schools in Orange Park, as it usually does, to invite their participation in the Knights of Columbus’ Annual Free-Throw Competition. The invitation was rebuffed by most of the schools, citing too busy or lack of interest by the athletic department. Council to Host Dinner for Benefit of CRS
Father Edward Rooney, the first pastor of St. Catherine of Siena, approached the Grand Knight of Council 7399 and asked if we would conduct a fundraiser in support of Catholic Relief Services. In response, the Council elected to conduct a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, the proceeds of which will go to benefit CRS. Council Remembers Brother Knight Greg Donaldson
On Friday, December 19, 2025, our Brother Sir Knight, Greg Donald passed away after a long battle with an illness. Greg was a retired Chief Petty Officer who served his country in the US Navy and our community greatly until he became sick. Sir Greg held a few roles in our council up to the level of Deputy Grand Knight. Knights of Columbus Council Marks 100th Bingo Milestone
The Knights of Columbus Orange Park Council #7399 of St. Catherine of Siena celebrated a major milestone on Friday, January 9 2026, hosting its 100th Bingo event since the program’s revival in 2018. Bingo, a long-standing Knights-sponsored fundraiser, resumed in July 2018 under the leadership of Bob Culp, who assembled the core team that brought the program back to life.
