The Knights of Columbus invites all Council and Assembly members to come together for a meaningful and uplifting event on Sunday, May 31. At 8:30 AM, we will gather for the Corporate Communion Mass, a special occasion where members, their families, and friends unite in prayer and faith. After Mass, we will continue our fellowship with a buffet breakfast at Golden Corral in Orange Park. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds, celebrate our shared mission, and grow deeper in faith as a community.

What Is a Corporate Communion Mass?

A Corporate Communion Mass is more than just attending Mass together. It is a visible sign of unity among Knights of Columbus members and their families. During this Mass, members should wear Knights gear or badges and gather with friends and family to process in together and sit together in reserved pews. This gathering highlights our commitment to faith, fraternity, and charity.

The Mass encourages active participation. Many Knights and their families serve in liturgical roles such as ushers, lectors, or Eucharistic ministers. Wearing Knights gear during the perofmance o their serivice shows our dedication to serving both God and our parish community.

Why Attend the Corporate Communion Mass?

Unity and Fellowship

The Corporate Communion Mass brings members together in prayer, reinforcing the spiritual bonds that connect us. Sitting side by side with family and friends during Mass strengthens our sense of belonging and shared purpose. This unity reflects the core values of the Knights of Columbus: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Active Participation in the Liturgy

Members serving as ushers, lectors, or Eucharistic ministers allows Knights and their families to contribute actively to the worship experience. This participation enriches the Mass and highlights the importance of service within our faith community.

Visibility in the Parish Community

Holding the Corporate Communion Mass quarterly demonstrates the Knights’ ongoing commitment to faith and service. It shows the parish community that we are a strong, active group dedicated to living out our values. Wearing Knights gear and sitting together makes our presence known and invites others to learn about our mission.
