Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

October 7 was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. In honor of this feast, the parish celebrated Mass followed by a "Living" Rosary, orchestrated by Vida Tiu.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary celebrates the Holy League’s defeat of the Ottoman Empire in the Battle of Lepanto on October 7, 1571. Even though the Turkish forces were very powerful, the Christians won due to the intercession of Mary and the prayer of the Most Holy Rosary.

The St. Catherine of Siena Assembly Color Corps was on hand in full regalia to assist at Mass and participate in the Rosary.
