Once again, Orange Park Council 7399 conducted its "Back to School" Supplies Drive. With the help of the generous donors from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, the drive benefits needy students from schools within the parish boundaries, including Montclair, W.E. Cherry, S. Bryan Jennings, Lakeside, and Grove Park Elementary Schools.
This year's donations were particularly impressive as donations accounted for more than 800 pounds of supplies. Diana Costello, wife of Deputy Grand Knight, Dan Costello oversaw the packing of the supplies. Even though donations exceeded last years, boxes were more compact and more easily delivered to their beneficiaries.
Assisting with the packing were chairman of the drive, Lou Manz, Dan Costello, Dan Costello Jr (Community Director), and Faithful Navigator, Dave Miller. Supplies were delivered by Vanoy Counts (Financial Secretary), Curtis Winston, Dave Miller, Lou Manz, Dan Costello, and Dan Jr.
The Council would like to thank all those who donated to this year's drive. We are always humbled by the generosity of the parish family.
