On Saturday, August 16, Orange Park Council 7399 held a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser to support one of the Diocese's most needy Catholic schools, Guardian Catholic School in North Jacksonville. The Council had been selling tickets weeks in advance of the event. More than 200 tickets were sold.

The Grand Knight, David Coughlin and the Chairman of the event, Vanoy Counts recruited brothers from the Council to set up tables, toss salads, make the meal, and clean up. Volunteers were in abundance.

Cooks Vanoy Counts and Dan Costello started their efforts almost ten hours in advance of the dinner.
