January 8 2026 Business Meeting Minutes

Grand Knight David Coughlin called Meeting to Order at 7:05 pm

The Minutes from December 2025 approved with one objection.

Grand Knight Report-GK David Coughlin Reports:

1) Spaghetti Fundraiser tickets to be sold 3 weekends after Mass beginning January 24th--Grand Knight will be soliciting volunteers.

2) Lou Manz conducted successful free throw event.

3) Diaper Drive and Food Drive in March

4) Silver Rose Ceremony on March 10.

5) Greg Donaldson Funeral Mass January 16

6) Volunteer Opportunities upcoming:

a) Quarterly Breakfast January 11

b) Patriotic Rosary

c) Tootsie Roll Drive in February

d) Souper Supper February 20-servers needed and cleanup help

Trustees-Jay Heather reports:

1) We will keep a Semi Annual Audit Schedule-voluntarily. 1 required.

BINGO Report:

December 19th was the 99th BINGO at Lademia Hall

Chairman Cliff Plante would like to see the Church Bulletin recognize the Knights BINGO check so that Parishioners understand the importance of BINGO to the finances of the Parish. The Grand Knight will speak with Lisa Kolak regarding that issue.

New Business:

1) Lou Manz started list of people interested in polo shirts. He would also like the Council to support renaming the Knights Room to Father Michael McGivney room. Grand Knight Grand Knight will bring that up for discussion at February meeting.

Treasurer Report-Treasurer Michael Gambone Reports Balances as of 12/31/2025:

Operating Acct #1803-$2,299.43

Money Market #4963-$6,760.43

Charity Acct#0010-$5,172.71

BINGO Acct#3255-$4,947.26

5 outstanding checks totaling $1091.07

Money Market includes 5% from each BINGO to establish reserve for future BINGO machine. Approximately halfway to the estimated replacement cost of the BINGO Machine.

District Deputy Report:

Financial Secretary Report- Financial Secretary David Counts reports

1) 1 new member. Degree scheduled for January 17.

2) Will be contacting Supreme about transferring 15 members who are five years in arrears on dues to affiliate status.

4th Degree Assembly: Faithful Navigator David Miller Reports:

1) Next 4th Degree Exemplification will be January 31 2026 in Tampa

2) Next Business Meeting on January 27 2026
