Past Grand Knight Jay M. Heather Recognized for his Contributions

At the monthly social meeting held on August 24, Past Grand Knight Jay M. Heather was recognized for his contributions.

In January of 2023, Grand Knight Vincent Reilly announced that he was leaving St. Catherine of Siena for a new job with the Diocese of Greensburg, outside of Pittsburgh. The Council was in need of a replacement to fill this critical position through June 30. Jay had been Grand Knight from July 2013 until June 2015. So, he knew the position well and decided to step up to fill the Grand Knight role through June 30.

Jay is recognized throughout the parish and the diocese as a man of God who gets things done. This summer, he completed his 50 Urban Plunge. It seemed fitting that the Council recognize Jay for his contributions in a manner befitting them.

New Grand Knight, Lou Manz, presented Jay with the following Resolution of Gratitude which was accompanied by another document which had the signatures of his Brother Knights.
