40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful prayer vigils. The Parish, led by St. Catherine of Siena Knights of Columbus kicked off 40 Days for Life with a Rosary for Life in the Adoration Chapel on Wednesday, September 27.

Members of the Council and the Parish gathered to pray for the protection of all the unborn. Dave Coughlin, Life Director for Council 7399, led the effort. Local pro-life efforts will be continued with a Life Chain on Kingsley Ave. on Sunday, October 1 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. This is the Parish's annual effort to stand up for the dignity of women and the sanctity of life.
